Perfect background for larger cards!

This is an excellent background for everything.... in dark colors for a masculine card and in pastels for florals. I am graduating to A6 and A7 cards and the versatility from this press plate is going to make it a big performer for me. Thanks to Jennifer McGuire for the heads-up on this 5x7 plate!

FAQ

Questions? We've got you

You will need a compatible letterpress system, like the Spellbinders BetterPress, and a manual die-cutting machine to get the pressure required for that beautiful, deep debossed effect.

For the absolute best results with a letterpress finish, we recommend using dedicated letterpress inks, though you can also use Altenew Fresh Dye Inks and experiment with your favorite hot foil rolls.

Yes! Even though it is a press plate, it doubles as a hot foil plate, letting you add stunning metallic shine using your favorite hot foiling system.
