High quality metal& cuts perfectly every time.
I love this die for adding exquisite stitched details to my cards. It also makes a lovely textured background. But one of my favorite ways to use it is as a "pokey" tool. When I use a die with lots of negative pieces which don't pop out, I rub my diecut over the back (cutting side) of this die to make quick work of getting rid of small pieces that remain.
loved this one - used it to make faux cross stitch birthday card
I use a small needle and two strands of thread to sew with this die and it works great. The designs look amazing and impressive when my sewing is completed. I also purchased the pegboard canvas die to sew with. I love them both. This die allows you to create tinier designs. It is a little bit more tedious to sew with than the pegboard but the results are worth it! It also makes a nice background with nothing extra done after cutting it out.
You know why I got this? I watched Jennifer McGuire -- ENOUGH SAID!!!! right? That woman is amazing with her crafts. I told myself this is soooo cool she makes it look sooo easy. The streaming video I saw she was including DMC to cards. My mouth just dropped. I could not click fast enough to get this and other dies. I can't wait to start creating my DMC embroider thread cards for the 2021 holidays and to watch the surprise of my loved ones when they get one. This die has such fine placed hole-like detail that it makes perfect impressions on different mediums. Since this is my first time making cards with DMC I am so glad those hole-like imprints are close together making it easy for me to use an embroidery template image of my choosing. I hope to graduate with using a graphic and/or clip art image in the future with DMC and that's when the endless possibly will happen for me.
