I purchased the Grapevine Envelopes to go with the Grapevine Cardstock pack and they're not even close to a match. (The envelopes are much, much lighter and have an almost frosted look when held alongside the cardstock.) That being said, the two shades are complementary, and I have used them together in some situations. I can also say this: when considered on its own, the color of the envelopes is gorgeous--muted and wintery. I will have no problem using them with non-Grapevine card bases! As with all Altenew envelopes, the weight and feel are excellent, as is the self-sealing feature!

These envelopes are very nice and sturdy. Love the color.
