Love this beautiful die set. Made some pretty irises with it. Love the keyhole system, simply brilliant!

I used this layering die set for the first time recently even though I have had it for about a year. It creates two beautiful florals (I made both but only used one for this card). The layering guide was exceptionally helpful. I enjoyed ink blending a very pale pink card to get the effect.

It seems like every flower is my favorite, but bearded irises really are, honest! (laughter) While there are a lot of iris dies out there, not a one of them captures the realism of Altenew's. As layering dies go, this one is fairly easy to assemble, and the fold-and-glue petal is genius. I've been pleased with my efforts using simply colored cardstock but have to admit it takes ink blending to make these blossoms really come alive. Not my strong suit but the designer (and reviewer) card examples on the product page are inspirational and my love for this flower has fueled many practice hours. This flower is beautiful!, it's easy to put together and you'll have fun coloring it and decorating it. For the background I used the 'Squiggly lines' stencil, loved the effect!
