When does the retreat take place?

Saturday, September 26 and Sunday, September 27, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM ET both days.

Is the retreat in-person or virtual?

Cozy Comfort Retreat is a fully virtual, live experience — join from anywhere with an internet connection and your retreat kit.

What's included in the retreat kit?

A beautifully curated kit with exclusive, never-before-seen products designed especially for this experience. Full kit details are revealed in the live unboxing leading up to the event.

Will the sessions be recorded?

Yes — registered attendees receive replay access, so you can revisit your favorite classes long after the weekend ends.

How do I join the waitlist?

Click 'Add to Bag' to secure your spot when registration reopens. Cozy Comfort fills fast every year, so make sure you're notified the moment seats are available.

When will I get the Kit?

We’ll begin shipping the kits in mid-August, so you’ll have plenty of time to explore and enjoy them before the retreat begins!

How do I access Altenew Academy?

If you're new to Altenew Academy, don't worry, we've got you covered! Take a look at THIS helpful pictorial guide to assist you through your class journey. You can also watch this How It Works video or THIS video from 2025’s retreat.

When will the class recordings be available?

Class recordings will be uploaded after the retreat and accessible on the Altenew Academy site starting Monday, September 28th. The pre-retreat event recordings are uploaded the following day.

What if I am not on Facebook?

Don’t worry! All information will be shared via email as well. You can also reach out to us at support@altenew.com for any questions or assistance.

Will there be a Facebook group for this retreat?

Yes! You’ll receive an invitation to join the exclusive retreat Facebook group closer to the event date. This group is a great place to connect with instructors and fellow participants. The link will also be included in your order confirmation email, so be sure to check your email carefully when purchasing the retreat.

To ensure a smooth acceptance into the group, make sure to join and answer the membership questions.

Where will this retreat take place?

The retreat is virtual and will be hosted on Zoom. Zoom links will be emailed and posted in the retreat Facebook group 2-5 days before the event. Please ensure you have the Zoom client installed and up to date to attend the live classes on the retreat day. If you need assistance, many video tutorials are available on the Zoom website. If you don’t have the Zoom client, you may access the retreat via a browser (with limitations). If you already have the Zoom client, please launch it once before the retreat to ensure you have the latest updates.

Will this kit be released after the retreat?

Yes, the products designed for the retreat will be released sometime after the retreat.

When will we get access to the project instructions?

Exclusive project instructions PDFs will be emailed a week before the event. These PDFs include step-by-step project instructions and preparation tasks. A printable copy of the instructions will also be included in the kit

Where will I find the supply list for each class?

Once the supply list is ready, we will notify you via email. You can find the supply list for each class under its respective lessons in the retreat section of Altenew Academy.

Do I need to purchase additional items for this retreat?

Instructors will share their supply lists two weeks before the event. You can use basic supplies you already have or purchase additional items based on the lists provided. We have also shared curated add-on kits for a seamless crafting experience:

My class kit is in my hands!

It's crazy to write a review before the retreat has even happened. But my class kit is now in my hands! And it is a truly amazing kit! There is a huge variety of goodies inside; stamps, dies, embossing folders and papers! The booklet that shows each class and details are exciting! I clearly need to do my homework ASAP and even that's exciting!

Wow! This kit is incredible. It is the 1st time I will be doing the classes for this, you get so many great stamps, dies and other goodies too. I am very excited to use the kit and do the classes.
