I am brand new to embossing and this powder was my first purchase. What a great start! The color is absolutely gorgeous, unlike anything I'd seen while reviewing powders offered by other manufacturers. It's a true sky blue and while not a deep shade, it's certainly dark enough to be easily legible when using with sentiment stamps, even on light cardstock. For those who collect patterned paper, it's a particularly Graphic 45-friendly color--I'm currently using it to enliven Alice's Tea Party and Imagine.

This is a beautiful color embossing powder. I wasn’t sure how much I would use it when I bought it and have been surprised by how often I have used it! It is not a terribly bright color…it is really just a beautiful shade of blue that looks so nice with so many other colors.

I used this once for the outline on a hydrangea flower stamped image and then water colored blues and lavenders in it. It looks great! I look forward to using it on many more projects. I just ordered the pink one too. I hope I can experiment with dropping pinches of each color together on the same hydrangea stamp!
