Instructions:

Remove the photopolymer sticky mat from the acetate sheet.
Place it on your work surface with the engraved side down.
Clean any ink residue immediately with a wet wipe to avoid staining. Please keep in mind that some dark colors (especially reds and blues) may stain the mat. This will not affect its performance. You can protect the mat by placing a scrap piece of paper to catch the ink when stamping off the edge of your project.
To keep your mat clean and sticky, occasionally wash it under running water. Make sure you rub the dust off while rinsing.
After washing, allow it to air dry

Wonderful Tool for my Craft Room!

I don't know how I got by without this mat! I use it all the time to hold my stencils in place when ink blending or using Shimmer Relief Pastes. It works great for ink blending die cuts, too! It holds everything in place so well and cleans up easily! I even use it to hold my paper in place when watercoloring! I used to put it away in one of Altenew's pouches, but now I just leave it out on my craft table because I use it so often!

One of the best crafting tools I own.

This mat has made my ink blending so much better, it holds the card very well, no more inked fingers. It will also hold your ink pad in place so you aren’t chasing it all over the desk. It makes doing stenciling a breeze too, it holds the stencil and the card in place. I am definitely saving money on buying tape to hold everything in place. It stays sticky and is very easy to clean. I started with the smaller one and I love it too, but the 9 x 12 gives you so much more working space. I love the packaging they use. I even made a card with it. Ink blended the card front on the sticky mat with oxide inks, then added the flowers from the packaging.

Ultra Sticky Mat

This mat makes stenciling so much easier. It also is great for keeping projects in place. I put my ink pad in the corner and that stays in place also. It is easy to clean. I wish it had the grid printed on the back so it would stay in place on the work surface. I did try Jennifer McGuire's tip and cut the corners of plastic protector grid off so it would stick to my work surface.

Excellent tool for stamping and stenciling

Stenciling is one of my favorite ways to decorate a card. The Ultra Sticky Mat is perfect for that and easy to use.

A very worthwhile investment

This sticky mat is a little pricey, but it is a very worthwhile investment because it makes inking die cut pieces and coloring layering stencils SO much easier! The mat holds die cut pieces, cardstock and stencils in place very well so I don’t need to tape them down or get my fingertips all inky from trying to hold tiny flowers and leaves while I am ink blending. If the mat loses its stickiness, just wipe off with stamp cleaner or gentle soap and water and its stickiness is restored. The sticky mat also does a good job of keeping ink pads from sliding around my desk. Most ink comes off with stamp cleaner but certain colors like red seem to stain it a bit-not a problem for me because it just shows how well loved this tool is!
