September 2022 Winter Magic Collection Release Blog Hop + Giveaway ($300 in Total Prizes!)

It is time for a new blog hop filled with beautiful projects and lots of inspiration featuring the new Winter Magic Stamps, Dies, Stencils, Embossing Folders, and Hot Foil Plates. This new release is filled with beautiful florals, iconic winter designs, and versatile sentiments.
Nathalie here with you today to share a bit of inspiration featuring some of the new products from the beautiful Winter Magic Collection.
I just love how all these stamps/dies/stencils/embossing folders/hot foil plates are designed to work separately but can easily be combined together with amazing results. Let's take a quick look at this new collection!
Winter Magic Collection
We love celebrating the winter season, and this release includes everything you need to do just that! Let your holiday cards shine with trendy typography, classic poinsettias, or a modern tree. A timeless wreath of mistletoe (with coordinating embossing folder and stencils!), winter florals, and hot foil plates and dies finish off the release. ‘Tis the season!
Winter Magic Inspiration
Today, I have a set of cards filled with shine and glitter (I love the new hot foil plates in the Winter Magic collection). Let me show you.
For my first project, I am using the new Tiny Festive Patterns Hot Foil Plate Set (4 in 1) to bring a festive feel to the card. The detail in the small hot foil plates is perfect for creating a repetitive pattern for your card panels. I chose to add the small tree design in the top right and bottom left corner of the panel – think of it as a grid.
Once the panel was foiled, I trimmed it, so it could be framed with darker color cardstock. In order to add interest to the white spaces in the panel, I used the large plaid hot foil plate to create two panels. These are glued as frames to the back of the white area of the card panel.
That small hot foil edge just adds that extra pop of interest to the card!
I love the new Tiny Sentiments: Wishing Stamp & Die Bundle!
I cut the “wishing” sentiment three times from white cardstock – using the Tiny Sentiments: Wishing Die. These are stacked and glued together to add a bit of texture and dimension to the sentiment. I cut one more of the sentiments from gold cardstock and carefully trimmed the word from the strip.
Using the Tiny Sentiments: Wishing Stamp Set and Obsidian Pigment Ink, I added a sentiment to the strip, then glued the gold word to it. In order to break the straight lines of the card, my choice is to set the sentiment at an angle on top of the panel.
The next two projects feature the new Magic Burst Hot Foil Plate as the background of the card panel. I am using the new Brass Hot Foil Roll to create the panel.
The center of the burst is the perfect spot to add your focal point, which makes creating easy and simple.
I love the new Layered Snowflakes 2 Die Set; the design is delicate and detailed.
I am using white cardstock and Glitter Cardstock Set – Gilded to cut 4 of the die pieces. Once layered together, they create dimension and texture. I added the letter die-cuts (Classic Alphabet Die Set) next to the snowflake to create the card's sentiment.
I am using the negative foil piece from the Magic Burst Hot Foil Plate for my last project. This time, I am reaching for the new Festive Tree Stamp & Die Bundle to create the sentiment and focal point of the card.
I used tones of blue (Glacier Caves Crisp Dye Ink Mini Cube Set) and the Festive Tree Stamp and Die bundle to create the tree. I used Antique Gold Pigment ink, Crystal Clear Crisp Embossing Powder, and the same stamp set to create the sentiment for the card. Then, I added just a few gems for an extra shine.
