Stampwheel 2.0 Is Finally Here! (Video Hop + Giveaway!)

Hello everyone! Happy Stampwheel 2.0 release day! We know you've been waiting for this, and we're so thrilled to finally share the new & improved Stampwheel with you. Before you start hopping along, here's what you need to know about this game-changing crafting tool.

What is Stampwheel 2.0?

The Stampwheel 2.0 builds on the success of the original Stampwheel with notable upgrades, such as a larger workspace with a detachable side, precision inch scales, and a high-quality photopolymer Sticky Mat.  These enhancements offer increased versatility and accuracy, designed to elevate your crafting experience and unlock new creative possibilities. This tool underscores our commitment to innovation and is crafted to support and inspire your creative endeavors.

This innovative tool retains the original feature of a rotational clear plate that locks into place at 16 equal intervals. The ‘Sticky Mat,’ made from high-quality photopolymer, ensures your paper and stencils stay securely in place. Additionally, the right side of the Stampwheel 2.0 frame is detachable to accommodate larger stamps, stencils, or paper. Both sides of the frame include an inch scale for easier alignment.

Whether you’re stamping a single image, layering stamps, creating wreaths, mirror stamping, designing unique patterns, or using stencils, the Stampwheel 2.0 will be a great crafting companion. Create larger wreaths, layer larger stamps, mirror stamps, use stencils, & more. With every flip, you can enjoy consistent results with minimal effort and maximum creativity!

Create a Huge Wreath for Scrapbooking and DIY Home Decor Projects

Lydia here, and I'll be sharing how to create a huge wreath using the Stampwheel 2.0 and then use that for a scrapbook layout, but you could just as easily use it as a home decor piece.

I started with a 9″ x 9″ piece of white cardstock and added this into my Stampwheel 2.0. I then used the Watercolor Extravaganza Stamp Set to stamp my wreath.

Here are the ink colors I used:

  • Larger pink flower: Dusty Pink, Cotton Candy and Blush Rose Inks
  • Aqua flower: Mint Choc, Mountain Mist and Volcano Lake Inks
  • Blue flowers: Water Hyacinth and Alphine Aster Inks
  • Coral Flower: Pink Pearl and Corral Bliss Inks
  • Leaves and stems: Jade and Eucalyptus Inks
  • Flower centers: Sunray and Chamomile Inks

The background paper was created by adding a strip of Satin Masking Tape to a piece of white cardstock and then blending ink onto the masking tape. Once one color was added, the tape was moved, and then another color was ink blended. Colors used: Sunray, Pink Pearl, Dusty Pink, Alpine Aster, and Mountain Mist.

To add a fun layer behind the photo, I used a piece of Creative Cutouts: Moroccan Mosaic before adding some enamel dots to embellish around the photo.
