Focus: Botanical Garden

Hello! It's Marika here and I'm glad that you stopped by today. Today is my turn to share three different ways to use Botanical Garden set. Here we go:

I started with the technique which is easiest for me. My intention was to create a feel of a field with wild flowers. I used no-line colouring to get more realistic look and used second generation stamping for the greenery that are more back.  I used Altenew Frayed Leaf and Forest Glades Crisp inks for stamping and coloured over the stamped image with copic markers – no pencils used this time – except on the butterfly which I had stamped. coloured and cut earlier. The sentiment was stamped with black pigment ink from Many thanks set. I just love how the font of the sentiment fits so well with those flowers.

Copic markers used: Y21 – YR21 -YR23, YG03 – G24 – YG67.

On my second card I went for vintage look. I stamped the images with ZIG markers onto watercolored card stock and very loosed added shading to the flower. I stamped the sentiment with Versamark from Halftone Hello set onto desert storm card stock and heat embossed it with Vanilla White embossing powder. The sentiment was stamped with Vintage Sepia pigment ink from Beautiful Lady set.

On my third card, I challenged myself to make card without colouring. Quite a many layers, but I kinda like it. I made the video on this one. Hopefully you'll find it helpful.
