Finding Stunning Color Palettes in Every Day Life

Welcome crafty friends! Today, we’re diving into how to find color inspiration for your next cardmaking project. Inspiration can come from the most unexpected places, and I’ll be sharing tips and ideas to help spark your creativity and bring fresh color palettes to your designs!

It can definitely be a struggle trying to figure out a fun and unique color combination. So where do we start? By simply looking around our house! From home decor to packaging, there’s so much unexpected inspiration just waiting to be discovered — and today I’m going to show you how to spot it and turn it into beautiful card designs.

The Arched Foliage Project Kit is perfect for this because it gives me the flexibility to blend a variety of colors without overwhelming the design. I just love how the deeper tones really helped the colors melt into each other without getting muddy. It’s a great reminder to not be afraid to experiment with those unexpected combinations!

I couldn't resist incorporating the same color palette into the background. The addition of the Gold Metallic splatters just added that perfect touch of elegance and shine. It really makes the whole design pop!

By pulling color inspiration from something as simple as a plant in my home, I was able to create this beautiful, layered design with the Arched Foliage Craft Your Life Project Kit. I love how the combination of pinks, greens, and gold metallic splatters came together to create a soft, yet striking card. I hope this technique gives you some fun ideas for finding your own color inspiration in unexpected places! Thanks so much for joining me today, and happy crafting!
