Creativity Unlocked: How to Add Mixed Media Elements to Your Projects

Hello, Altenew friends! It's Reiko here today and I'm using the brand new PixelGrid Cover Die to create a mixed media scrapbooking layout. Adding mixed media techniques to a scrapbooking layout is not only fun, but also makes it unique.
Welcome to Creativity Unlocked, where we highlight a new product from each month's collection or a fan favorite from past collections!

Mixed Media Scrapbook Tutorial
First, I used a 6″ x 6″ scrapbooking paper from the Exuberant 6×6 Paper Pack and 5.5″ x 5.5″ white cardstock paper embossed with the Cherry Plum Blossom 3D Embossing Folder as background.
I die-cut the PixelGrid out of any cardstock and used the sheet as a stencil. Then, I mixed the Embossing Paste and the Navy Fresh Dye Ink and pasted it like the photo below.
To finish, I added the Crystal Clear Enamel Dots and the Sea Glass Metallic Shimmer Ink Spray.
The photo below shows my 6″ x 6″ scrapbook album covered with the Botanical Rhapsody Wide Washi Tape.
I really love looking through scrapbooking pages I made with a variety of fabulous Altenew products.
Are there any mixed media products that you'd like to try on your next project? Let me know in comment section below.
Thank you very much for stopping by! Happy crafting!
~Reiko
