A different approach to CAS style

Hello Everyone! Aga here to share a quick and easy card using Beautiful Day set. My favourite card style is clean and simple with lots of white space but sometimes, I love to challenge myself in doing something different. For my card today, I wanted to try a different approach to my usual CAS style and I used brown kraft card base instead of white cardstock.

I used black ink to stamp flowers and leaves and used a masking technique to create the floral arrangement for my background. For my sentiment I used a bold “thinking of you” from Thinking of You set. Then I stamped a flower with black and two leaves with Forest Glades and Evergreen inks on white cardstock. I cut it out them using coordinating dies and adhered. I used foam tape for the flower to add some extra dimension to the whole design.
