Hi there everyone! Erum here today with a fun card featuring an easy watercolor technique that I call the splatter watercolor.

Splatter Watercolor

  1. On A2 Watercolor Cardstock stamp images from the Garden Delights Stamp Set in Embossing Ink.
  2. Cover the panel with Pure White Embossing Powder and heat set.
  3. If you want to color the flowers and leaves in different colors, cut out or separate the flowers and leaves.Splatter Watercolor
  4. Spritz water over the panel or apply it with a paintbrush.
  5. For the splatter watercolor technique, add splatters of Sea Shore pigment from the Artists Watercolor 24 Pan Set.
  6. Next, add splatters of Lapis Lazuli pigment.Splatter Watercolor
  7. To the flower centers, apply Cool Summer Night pigment.
  8. You can slightly move the pigment around if you want to but don't overdo it. Set it aside to air dry.
  9. Repeat the same with the leaves. Use Cool Summer Nights and Sea Shore pigment and make the leaves darker than the flowers.Splatter Watercolor
  10. Once dry, use the coordinating dies to die cut them.
  11. Trim Moonrock Cardstock an inch smaller than the card front.
  12. To this, add fine black paint splatters.Splatter Watercolor
  13. Adhere this onto the card base with foam tape.
  14. To the card front, adhere flowers with Instant Dimension Foam Tape.
  15. Pinch the tips of the leaves and then adhere them with liquid adhesive.Splatter Watercolor
