Making Cozy Room-themed Scrapbook Layouts Using Creative Cuts: Houseplants Die Set

Today's post is about creating a cozy room – themed memory keeping layout by using the brand new Creative Cuts: Houseplants Layering Die Set and Altenew's cheerful 6 x 6 paper packs.
Making 6 x 6-inch Scrapbook Layouts Idea #1: Beside The Window
When I am creating a cozy home or room-themed scrapbook layout, I first choose patterned papers that are similar to wall papers. So I picked stripes and flower patterned papers from the Celebrations 6 x 6 paper pack for this background. Then, I die cut the window from the Through The Window Die Set using Moon Rock cardstock.
Design Tips:
- Choose colors that reflect your photo's palette.
- Use pattern papers that are similar to wall papers
- Incorporate home-related elements like: Houseplants, Window, Fireplace, etc.
- Add Enamel Dots and Ink Sprays around the Houseplants
Making 6 x 6-inch Scrapbook Layouts Idea #2: Cute Girls Room
How to Make Houseplants
For this 6 x 6 -inch scrapbook layout, cut a piece of blue stripe paper from the Cute Fruit 6 x 6 Paper Pack at 2 3/8″ x 6″. Then, adhere it on pink cherry paper.
I die cut the leaves from the Creative Cuts: Houseplants Layering Die Set using Frayed Leaf and Forest Glades cardstock. Layer the flower pot and adhere leaves and flowers. Embellish the Houseplants with Enamel Dots. I used the Pure White Ink Spray to give color and shine on the Houseplants.
