Hello, everyone! It’s Aga here, and today I would like to share a floral monogram card created with the Fine Alphabet Die Set and the Craft-A-Flower: Hibiscus Layering Die Set!
Creating a Watercolor Floral Monogram Card
Adding a monogram is a great way to personalize a card, envelope, or any other project. I think that every person who receives it will feel special and sense the love that went into creating it! I would certainly feel that way!
In today’s card, the M stands for Mama, but it could be easily altered for any initial of someone special for you.
Die Cutting with Watercolor Paper and the Craft-A-Flower: Hibiscus Layering Die Set
I started by die-cutting my hibiscus elements from the Craft-A-Flower: Hibiscus Layering Die Set.
I used a piece of watercolor paper from the Watercolor Paper Set (A2 loose sheets) and colored them in with Artists' Watercolor 24 Pan Set.
All the elements are super easy to line up, as they are labeled with numbers and shapes including a keyhole, an arrow, and an isosceles triangle. These serve as foolproof guides for trouble-free alignment.
Creating the Background and Final Steps
Next, I created my background by stenciling a card base with Feeling Dotty Stencil and Cloudy Sky Crisp Dye Ink.
I then placed the floral arrangement at the bottom of my card.
My last steps were to add the letter M created with the Fine Alphabet Die Set and glitter gold cardstock. I combined it with a circle from the Halftone Circles Nesting Die Set.
Then to finish it off, I stamped a sentiment from the Sentiments & Quotes Stamp Set.
And there you have it – a watercolor floral monogram card, created with the Fine Alphabet Die Set and the Craft-A-Flower: Hibiscus Layering Die Set! Hope you enjoyed this project!
