July 2022 Summer Love Collection Release Blog Hop + Giveaway ($300 in Total Prizes!)

I have a card to share with you, but first, let's take a look at this new collection of embossing folders and stencils!
Summer Love Collection
‘Tis the season for summer love! This release includes stunning floral, geometric, and leafy embossing folders. They would each make a fabulous feature on your next project, or they can be used as a background element for added texture. We have also included a stencil set that can color in the different elements of one of the geometric embossing folders. For added versatility, this set can also be used on its own. You're sure to fall in love with this collection of goodies!
The icing on the cake is the new Crafter's Essential Scoring Board, complete with an innovative tool we customized ourselves! It is part ball stylus (for precise scoring) and part bone folder (for crisp folding). We can't wait to see what you create!
Summer Love Project Inspiration
Today, I'm sharing how to ink blend and 3D-emboss die-cuts using this release's new embossing folders and stencils.
I started by cutting Courageous You Die from Classic Crest Solar White Cardstock. Then, I lined up the die-cut into place within the Sunshine Blossoms 3D Embossing Folder to emboss the design. I did this 3 times for the 2 cards.
For the first card, I added a base color layer to 2 of the embossed die-cuts using Sunray Ink all over and a little Pink Pearl Ink on the flowers.
Once the base had color, I then used Courageous You Layering Stencil to add a second layer. I used Chamomile and Coral Bliss Inks for the flowers and Grass Field Ink for the leaves. Snapdragon and Marigold Inks were used for the flower centers.
I didn't add a base layer of ink for the second card. Instead, I used the Courageous You Simple Coloring Stencil and inked through using pastel rainbow ink colors. I added Pink Pearl, Sunkissed, Chamomile, Firefly, Volcano Lake, Eastern Sky, and Hydrangea Inks.
The sentiments for the cards are from Courageous You Stamp Set.
