August 2022 Marvelous Monthly Series
This collection features daffodils, magnolias, a peony, an anemone, and sweet star balloons. The versatile products can be mixed and matched to create many inspiring projects!
Marvelous Monthly Series Project Inspiration
Today, I'll share how you can get amazing 3D dimensions by fussy-cutting images.
I started by stamping one of the images from the Build-A-Garden: Daffodil Delight Stamp Set.
I stamped the image 4 times onto a piece of white cardstock and once into place onto a 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ card panel using Industrial Diamond Ink. Once they were all stamped, I colored them using the coordinating stencil set. I used Lemon Ice and Butternut for the flower trumpet, Orange Sorbet for the flower petals, and Marshland and Sea Forest for the leaves and stems.
Once all of the images were colored, I fussy cut various parts from each other. The trumpets from one image, the open flower from another image, two flowers from another image, and the three flowers from the last one. I then adhered these to each other using foam tape and added them to the stamped image on the card panel.
I just LOVE how much depth and dimension this created!
I added a little splatter for interest, and the sentiment is from Craft Your Life Project Kit Magnolia & Blossoms.
