March is the perfect time to get lost in a book! You can pick up a new one or dive into an old favorite. In honor of National reading month, we have created this release inspired by our beloved books. You are sure to love the charming references to folktales and stories, along with a versatile bookmark die and other designs to awaken your fantasies. Let your imagination run wild – we can't wait to see what you create!
Folktales & Stories Project Inspiration
Today, I'll be sharing how you can make a beautiful floral shaped card.
I started by stamping the large image from Endless Florescence Stamp Set onto a piece of watercolor cardstock using Embossing Ink and heat set using Rose Gold Embossing Powder. I then colored this gorgeous image using Artists' Watercolor 24 Pan Set. I went around the outside of the image using dark blue paint so when I cut the image using the coordinating die it would have a dark edge.
I also cut a plain white piece of cardstock using the same die twice. On one of these die-cuts, I scored a line around about 1″ down from the top of the tulip, all across the die-cut. I then added adhesive to the top of the score line and adhered the other white die-cut to it. Then, I adhered the colored die-cut image on top of it. The sentiment is from Sentiment Strips 3 Stamp Set.
