Hello there, everyone! Happy Friday. Lydia here. I'm excited to be here with you at the start of the Build-A-Flower: Laelia Layering Stamp & Die Set Release Blog Hop.
Bring sunshine to your projects with some magnificent florals. In this set, you will find an outline image & six coloring layers for the flower and three layers for the leaves & stem – they will bring this gorgeous flower to life! We have also included two leafy branches and a variety of versatile sentiments so you can get the most out of this set! The Build-A-Flower: Laelia special edition stamp and die set is only sold as a bundle. It includes one 6″ x 8″ clear photopolymer stamp set (20 individual stamp images) and one coordinating die set (3 dies).

Project
Today, I'll be sharing how you can get a truly opulent look using a black and gold backdrop.
I started by stamping the large flower image from Build-A-Flower: Laelia Layering Stamp & Die Set onto some white cardstock. I used Antique Gold Pigment Ink for the outline, Pale Mauve, Amethyst, Grape Agate, Plum, Charcoal Suit, and Misty Moor Crisp Dye Inks for the flower. And Misty Moor, Marshland and Sea Forest Inks for the leaves and stems. Once these were done, I die cut them using the coordinating die. As I was adding these to a black background, I added Jet Black Artist Marker around the white border created with the die.
The black background is 3 3/4″ x 5″. I stamped the sentiment from Across The Pond Stamp Set into place on this panel using Embossing Ink and heat set using Antique Gold Crisp Embossing Powder. I then stamped around the panel using one of the leaves from the stamp set using Antique Gold Pigment Ink.
