Let’s Make Shiny Holiday Cards With Alcohol Ink Backgrounds!

Today I'm sharing three holiday cards that feature alcohol ink backgrounds with a touch of shine.  Carissa Wiley here with you for a holiday edition of A Touch Of Sparkle! 

Alcohol inks are a fun way to create beautiful, abstract backgrounds and simple card projects.  The backgrounds take center stage for these cards with their beautiful blends of colors and unexpected shapes.

I used the new Cottage Garden Alcohol Inks to create these alcohol ink backgrounds and I'll walk you through all of that in today's video tutorial.  I added a little bit of foil to the dried backgrounds by pressing bits of Champagne Hot Foil to the places where lots of ink had accumulated.  This adds a touch of shine and beautiful foiled accents.

I paired my completed backgrounds with the Berry Branch Die Set and the Timeless Sentiments Holiday Die Set.
