Hi, it's Therese, and I am back with another edition of Take 2 with Therese. Today, I'm sharing how to take your 3D Embossing Folders to the next level!
I have made 2 fabulous cards using the fun Imaginary Jungle Bundle!
This set has Simple Coloring Stencils with a coordinating 3D Embossing Folder, so it's great for crafting techniques. And there is no stamping at all in today's card examples!
Take Your 3D Embossing Folders to the Next Level
Idea # 1 – Watercolor Stencil Embossed Card
I tried something new today; I wanted to use the Woodless Watercolor Pencils with stencils. And I was pleasantly surprised! It was so easy that anybody could do this! That is, as long as you are not afraid of going outside the lines. This technique is never going to look perfect.
I added some Antique Gold Ink Spray splatters, which coordinated with the Brushed Gold Metallic Cardstock frame.
I also added a sweet Versatile Greetings die-cut sentiment.
Idea # 2 – Ink Blended Debossed Card
For my second card, I blended a subtle pastel background using the Frozen Delights Crisp Dye Inks.
But this time, I reversed the Imaginary Jungle 3D Embossing Folder to create a debossed look.
And I added a Sweet Sentiments die-cut to complete the sentiment.
