Festive Foliage Elements
Between Altenew Craft-A-Flower: Amaryllis and Japanese Anemone, I added texture from BetterPress Press plates and stencils to create a variety of leaves.
Die Cut Flower from Specialty Paper
The main star of the card is this crepe paper. The key is to ensure that the parallel lines of the flower match with the direction of each petal. This means you are cutting each flower petal individually–which takes a little bit of time. The results are well worth the effort when you pull and create cupped texture in the petals. It looks so much more life-like.
Shimmery and Shiny Embellishments
Finally, I added metallic elements to this card to make sure that this card really shines. Metallic elements are easily eye-catching, so make sure to add glitter embellishments or mirror cardstock sentiments so that these elements don't get lot on your canvas.
