Summer Swirls Scrapbook Layout

Last year, Altenew released a fun summer stamp set. I really like the giant ice-cream cones in this set and I wanted to use them on one of my summer scrapbook pages for this year. I aimed at creating a scenic page with a photo, a gradient title, and some handmade embellishments. I used different Artist Markers, including the Four Scoops Set. Also, I used inks in different shades of blue and green to create a gradient effect with the title. The birds and the background sentiment are stamped in blue and green (I used the Green Fields Oval Set and Sea Shore Oval Set).

Did you notice that I cut the photo into two pieces? I think this makes the layout more interesting and adds a fun twist.
