Floral Shadow Cards: Simple and Easy
Today, I thought I'd do a little something different. Instead of creating a layout, I made three cards. These were made during one of my Facebook Lives but I never got the chance to share pictures of them. I used the Floral Shadow Stamp Set on all three cards.
For my first card, I used the Create-A-Wreath Die Set and cut out a frame. I then picked one of the dies from the Floral Shadow Set and cut it out of some patterned paper from the 6x6 paper pad (Reflection Scrapbook Collection).
For the sentiment, I picked one from the Just Because Stamp Set.
For the second card, I once again cut a die from the set and cut it out on the card itself. I stamped the image using embossing ink and added some silver embossing powder. I placed this image beneath the cut. For added dimension, I mounted the image with foam dots.
My last card was created with the leftover white cut from the previous card. I adhered it to a card base with some foam dots, tied some twine around the base stem and added a sentiment. I kept it very simple and went with white on white.
I hope you like these simple and elegant cards. I do LOVE making my layouts but I also enjoy diving into card making as it gives me the opportunity to have cards on hand for many occasions.
