Welcome to the Altenew Scrapbook Blog. It's me, Sandra, and I'm sharing two easy DIY ideas with you today. I used the really pretty Inked Flora Stamp and Die Set to decorate a folder and an ordinary notebook. I like the idea of writing into a notebook that has a personalized cover. And you can use the folder to store notes, photos, or other memorable stuff. You can work with a pre-made folder or you can just cut a folder from your favorite Altenew scrapbook paper. Basically, it's like a card that has a little tab at the top.
How To
First, grab a folder and a blank notebook. Next, grab your Inked Flora Stamp and Die Bundle and a pretty patterned paper from the Reflection Scrapbook Collection. Now, stamp the blossoms onto the patterned paper with Jet Black Crisp Dye Ink and use the dies and a die-cutting machine to die cut the blossom from the patterned paper.
Tip: Use foam pads to attach the blossoms onto the folder and the cover of the notebook. This will add more dimension to your project. As an alternative, you can use double-sided tape or liquid glue. Place some of the blossoms around the edges and cut off the excess paper. Trust me, this will make your project really interesting.
Furthermore, you can add stamped words for more fun. Just do what you like!!! It's your project and if you're happy with it - that's all that matters.
