Die Highlight: Spring Meadow Cover Die
Hello crafty friends! It's Zinia here and today I'd like to share with you a bunch of projects I created using the beautiful Spring Meadow Cover Die. This die works amazingly paired with some colorful patterned paper like the Alluring Blooms 6x6 Paper Pack and it can work for many types of projects like cards, scrapbook layouts and more.
To create today's projects, I die cut multiple panels using the Spring Meadow Cover Die. I used a few sheets from the Alluring Blooms paper pack and a sheet of white cardstock.
For my scrapbook layout, I used the leftover outer edge you get after using this die. It's basically a rectangle shape that has a few leaf pieces hanging out. I really loved the way these pieces looked and I thought they'd be perfect to use as decorative frames. I used three of these frames and layered them around my photo to create an interesting composition.
To add some more details, I picked a few white leaf pieces that were cut with this die and scattered them around the page. To finish off the design, I added a large flower I fussy cut from the Alluring Blooms paper and a couple of chipboard pieces from the Live Your Dream Collection.
With the rest of the die-cut pieces, I put together a couple of cards. The first one is a simple panel I die cut off a patterned paper and placed on a white card base. I finished the design with a die-cut sentiment and a stamped sentiment strip.
The second card has a similar idea but I took it a step further by filling some gaps with the inner die-cut images in white. I adhered those pieces with foam dots to add more dimension to the card. I finished the design with a die-cut sentiment from black cardstock.
The next card is the reverse style. I kept my die-cut panel white and filled it in with images cut out of colorful patterned paper, again from the Alluring Blooms paper pack.
For my last card, I mixed a patterned paper base with patterned paper inner images but I made sure to use contrasting colors so the images stand out. I finished the card with a die-cut sentiment and a banner piece from the Live Your Dream ephemera pack to help it stand out against the colorful background.
