Die-cut a photo and create a fun scrapbook page with the Reflection Scrapbook Collection.

Sometimes creative things happen by coincidence. I, Sandra, was unpacking the Leafy Wreath Die and without looking, I placed it on my crafting table just on top of a photo. So, my original plan was to use the wreath die with the background paper to make a cut-out window. Then my plan was to place the photo behind that cut-out window. However, this didn't quite work out the way I had planned. So I decided to actually die-cut the photo itself. In addition, I used the Splatter Stencil with some silver paste. And I added stickers, buttons, a wood veneer bird and chipboard stickers from the Reflection Scrapbook Collection.

Let's have a look at the scrapbook page titled 'At the beach'. There are two background papers from the Reflection Scrapbook Collection. Both have stripes and I thought that they are a good match. I used the Leafy Wreath Die to die-cut the black-and-white photo. The black-and-white photo adds a nice contrast to the overall colorful design of the scrapbook page.

 Other details

Furthermore, I used gold and black spray to add some fun splatters onto the scrapbook page. I also sewed around the edges with my sewing machine and green sewing thread. Most of the times I use foam pads to attach the embellishments to a page. That way, the page will look less flat and more interesting. In a final step, I stamped the date several times and also added some handwritten journaling.
