Create A CAS Layout with Enjoy the Ride Scrapbook Collection!
Hello Crafty Friends! Welcome back to the Mixed Media Blog. This is Maryám and today I’m going to share with you a fun and easy layout I created using our brand-new Enjoy the Ride Scrapbook Collection and also the Creative Cutouts Moroccan Mosaic.
How-To:
To begin my layout, I started by trimming one of the pieces from the Creative Cutouts Moroccan Mosaic Set to 8 ½ x 11” inches to match the size of my base cardstock. Next, I grabbed the 6 x 6 paper pack from the Enjoy the Ride Scrapbook Collection, and with a pencil, I started tracing some of the parts I wanted to back onto pattern paper and then cut the pieces using scissors. Then, once I had all the pieces that I needed, I took a bottle of liquid adhesive and adhere them in place.
Continuing with the process, after I backed the Moroccan Mosaic Cutout, I added it to an 8 ½ x 11” inches white cardstock and also added my photos, title, and journaling. For the title, I used “Wonderful Happy Day” from the Chipboard Sticker Set.
Towards the end, I realized that my layout needed some more texture and fun, so I fussy cut some flowers and leaves from one of 12 x 12 papers and added them to the page using foam squares.
Last but certainly not least, I added some Satin White and Antique Gold Sequins for extra sparkle and also a few enamel dots here and there.
