I have tested the dies and love the results. But haven't been able to use the stamps yet as I have an injured hand.

The set is pretty and I especially like the sentiments & their font. Using the cross stitch stamps and their dies takes some practice to figure out what works. Because the dies are solid, IMO the only way you'll get things lined up is if you die cut first, then stamp. I also highly recommend using a stamp positioner, because the flower & leaves are very hard to perfectly align. You'll notice a lot of white gaps from misalignments in example photos. I think it works best using a dye ink so it soaks into the paper and helps cover some of the white created by die cut punctures. Also, note that the stem uses the medium shade of ink, not the lightest like you usually see in the layout guide. I and a lot of other people made that mistake!

You can also cross stitch over the stamped image, but be warned that it does take a lot longer than on Aida cloth. I did just the lightest color of the flower in coordinating floss, and that area took me 3.5-4 hours. The small hearts took me 45 mins-1 hr. I used 110 lb cardstock and a very fine needle and even then got some distortion of the paper, so be very careful if working on anything thinner.

How nice to have a new texture for cards. It's fun to combine talents with this cross stitch die and stamps in such a sweet motif. This takes handmade to a new level. I was so intrigued when I first saw it. It could be used to make kits for friends too.
