If you want to make a quick card or don't want to work with super tiny die cut pieces, this may not be the die set for you. It takes multiple hours to die cut all the flowers and leaves, and to then glue all the pieces together. But for me, the gorgeous results were worth it. There are so many stylistic options because you can mix and match different papers, including specialty papers, and you can even use embossing powders for a bit of textured fun. I'd suggest mass producing a bunch of die cut flowers if you're going to go through the effort of making a card using this set, and then you have more flowers left over for future projects. In short, if you're willing to spend a bit more time, this is an incredible and beautiful product!
I like the end results of these die sets, but the individual dies were not labeled so it was hard to figure out which piece goes where. Also, it was very time consuming to cut out each piece and then put everything together. The choice of paper for layering colors also takes a long time to experiment. I literally spent one night and then the next day well into the afternoon to get ONE card made. The card turned out nice, but this will not be my first choice in the future if I want a quick-ish card. If I could make suggestions for 3D die sets in the future, I would suggest less layers and better instructions. They did turn out pretty though and added a nice texture to the card.
Assembling the flower layers is quite time-consuming for impatient people like me. Yet the beautiful result justifies the effort spent.
I love these Garden Dies! They create the most beautiful flowers. So versatile.
