I struggle with watercoloring so I am finding this class very helpful. Have been watching as time permits but anxious to complete and hopefully see a big difference in my attempts. Thank you Altenew for this class!

These classes are so informative and helpful to me. So many good ideas!

Since I am new to watercolor, I was excited to find a class that would be easy to follow and use my new Altenew watercolor paint set with 36 different colors. Though I did not have all the die cuts and exact floral stamps suggested, I used the "January 2021 Paint-a-Flower: Tulips" stamp for my first project. However, I did decide to purchase the recommended watercolor brushes (Silver Black Velvet #2,4,6 and #10 from Amazon) They made all the difference in the outcome of the final project! I certainly have no regrets in purchasing these brushes--what a great investment and I was amazed at the difference these brushes made compared to standard watercolor brushes from a discount store. I then sent it to artist friend of mine for critiquing and she was very impressed! I look forward to finishing the next few classes in this series "Watercolor 101 For Paper Crafters" by Emily Midgett. This series was very helpful with lots of simple suggestions and techniques to give me the courage and ambition to pursue this new art form. Thank you Emily Midgett and Altenew!
