This metal shim was designed to help you cut intricate dies in our Mini Blossom Die Cutting Machine. Simply add this to the cutting sandwich between the top of the die (non-cutting edge) and the top plate to gain a little extra pressure for those finely detailed dies.

  • 3" x 6" (Same size as our cutting plates)
  • .5 mm Thick
  • High Carbon Steel

My plan is to use this in the Sizzix Sidekick as well as my Big Shot machine. I did read that it works in the Big Shot so I made the purchase. I have not used it yet; however, all the products I have purchased from Altenew have been of high quality and they stand by their products and provide excellent support. Having used other metal shims I know metal shims help get a better cut for intricate dies and as a bonus help keep plates from warping.
