This is the best black ink I’ve used thus far. It has not failed me yet. It comes out so crisp and precise when stamping no matter what type of stamp I use. I will be using this one from now on. Great product.

This black pigment ink is genuinely very detailed, but cleans up easily. As a comparison, I find it is more detailed than Versafine and Versafine Claire. It is as detailed as the Pinkfresh black detail ink, which is a hybrid formula and can be used to heat emboss, but the cleanup is not at all comparable—the Altenew Obsidian cleans easily with a little stamp cleaner whereas the Pinkfresh requires time and effort. The Obsidian is by far my favorite black pigment ink.
