I LOVE this keyhole system and I hope Altenew's collection of these innovations only increases. The keyhole system takes all of the angst out of assembling multiple small parts, saves time in trying to figure out the correct order and positioning, and gives you perfectly beautiful results. I will definitely be buying more sets as funds allow.
My one and only problem with the Japanese Camellia set is that the stamen and the two layers beneath the stamen for the smaller flower do not align. The three pieces for the larger flower aligned and layered perfectly and I was expecting the same results for the smaller flower. I used the same coloring choices as are on the packaging, so it was the yellow layer that extended all the way around the stamen die cut on the smaller flower. It looked sloppy, so I re-cut the pieces for the larger flower stamen set and used those.
Knowing me, it's very likely that I have done something silly. But if not, I thought you should know . . . thanks for listening.
