BetterPress Letterpress System by Spellbinders is an innovative way to achieve the elegant look of letterpress technique without all the mess. Combine BetterPress with the Glimmer Hot Foil System to create one-of-a-kind cards, stationery, projects and more. The BetterPress System works with your manual die-cutting machine to create beautiful, effortless, and detailed letterpress effects.

Four easy steps to professional results! Place BetterPress Press Plate onto the Chase (magnetic platform to hold the press plate). Next, tape the Card Panel on the Platen (clear top plate with registration marks). Apply Ink onto Press Plate. Make Letterpress Sandwich and run through the manual die-cutting machine. This exciting new system was designed to be used with your Platinum or Platinum 6 Die-Cutting & Embossing Machine, and is also compatible with many other die cutting machines including the Sizzix Big Shot.

This thing works like crazy

I got this for Christmas and I cannot believe how easy it is to use. Right out of the gate -- first try -- it made a perfect impression. Super cool, really looks like I ran it through a giant, Victorian hand-driven press! MUST GET MORE PLATES!

Very impressed!

It take time when we in Europe can get a hold on new items. Sold out everywhere. Then I saw the Altenew plates on YouTube and... there they was both the plates AND Spellbinders BetterPress on one place. I was lucky to order everything; Betterpress and Altenews wonderful plates, and had a great time using these as soon as they arrived. I had the package within a week. I also order a new scissor of Altenews brand, a little black one and was disappointed. Well, it was sharp but sluggish, my hand got strained quickly when fussy cutting. Then a black residue came of on my fingers. I will use it elsewhere. Maybe can sit in front of the tv and open and close it with both hands like a maniac so maybe it won't be so sluggish. Can only hope. But I will wash it first.
