Designer's Tips:

Once all the pieces have been cut, find coordinating ink colors and make the borders a bit darker to make the pieces look more realistic.
You can also adhere some of the pieces with foam tape, the boat seats, for example, to add more dimension to your piece.

Love, love this die set! Altenew makes it easy to decide whether one wants to buy a die set or not -- there are examples with color suggestions, the assembly instructions are online and what's more, the dimensions are also online. There are just enough pieces in this die set to make it easy to assemble and keep the color palette to a minimum so I grabbed it when it went on sale. There aren't enough die sets for masculine cards out there ....

Great For Masculine Cards!

This die set is very detailed and creates a great rowboat! I especially love the texture on the benches and the side of the boat. Very versatile as it can be added to cards for just about any occasion.

A needed set for my collection

This rowboat set is perfect for a masculine card or a summer card or scrapbook page sine we spend a lot of time at the lake in the summer. I love the detail of the wood grain on the seats and the two-tone paddles. It arrived very timely; my daughter is planning her wedding and is feeling a bit lost, so sending something encouraging…

Wooden Rowboat

I really enjoy making water-themed cards and was delighted to find the Wooden Rowboat die set. My previous makes featured ocean or beach scenes and tended toward the tropical. Now I'm playing with lakes and ponds and rising suns! One of the things I most appreciate about Altenew is that my creativity gets pushed, as it has here. The Layering Guide makes it easy to assemble the die cuts and the texturing on the seats and hull so adds to the finished appearance. This is one of those die sets which looks great when crafting with multiple shades of cardstock alone--no inking required to achieve depth or realism!

Great die set for making those hard to figure out masculine cards

Wanted something for the men in my family that fish or love the water. This was perfect.
