Quick, easy & colourful!

Happy Tuesday! It's Aimes here today with a bright and cheerful card featuring one my all-time favourite Altenew stamp sets: Layered Lily. :)

I'm making a real effort to embrace colour on my designs and the Layered Lily stamp set makes it easy peasy when paired with the Red Cosmos and Green Fields ink sets. All I needed to do was add a base colour to the card – I couldn't resist using aqua for a fresh colour combo.

The bonus of this design is that the shaped sentiment fits nicely onto the die-cut circle and the design of the lily fits snugly around it. The empty areas around the sentiment have been given a touch of added sparkle thanks to some sequins.

I like to think you can mix and match sequin shapes and sizes and there's no harm in embracing both gold and silver on the same design. Who says you can't have your cake and eat it when it comes to embracing sparkles? ;)
