Easy Foiling Techniques | Clean and Simple Card with a Pop of Foil!
Hello, crafty friends! It's Laurie here today with a clean and simple card and some easy foiling techniques!
Working with the new hot foil plates has definitely become one of my go-to techniques. I love the shine that it adds to a card and it is incredibly easy to do! Using the Whimsical Peony Hot Foil Plate and some gold foil, mixed with the Whimsical Peony coordinating stencil, I created today's card. Keep on reading to learn a few easy foiling techniques!
Easy Foiling Techniques
Gold foil is my favorite and I tend to use it more than any other color. It looks great with so many colors of Altenew inks! After running this peony plate through my hot foil system, I added Pink Pearl and Coral Bliss with the stencil.
This focal point was so easy and fast!
I added the card front to the card base with a piece of fun foam and then popped up the Waterbrush Hello Die with a second die-cut of fun foam.
TIP! Keeping the sentiment white lends to that classic clean and simple look. And it's super easy!
