DIY Easter Basket

Hello! Anna is here and today I want to share with you such an unusual for me project – home decor. And this is DIY Easter basket in soft colors to decorate the house this Spring. I made a short video tutorial how to make such basket (you can find it at the end of the post).

I used very simple scheme for creating the basket – in the end it will be used only for decorating my shelves. I took Cherry Wood cardstock for the basket base and gave it strange with the Spicy Yogurt paper on the back side.

You can also decorate the basket as you wish – I glued some Vintage Roses with the sentiment from Oriental Orchid set and filled it with some paper raffia.

Ans as final details I prepared some colored wood eggs. This moment isn't shown on the video, but it's easy – I used white paint and toned it with the Altenew Crisp Inks  (I took the colors I used for stanping the flowers and leaves). I caused the inks on smooth surfaces and adde the white paint, mixed thoroughly and painted eggs with this mixture.
