Beautiful Card For a Teacher with World in Bloom Layering Die Set
When my daughter has asked me to create a unique card for her teacher I immediately knew what set to use. There are 9 dies in this set: globe, flowers and leaves perfect for a school-themed project.
I started making my card by die-cutting all my elements. I used Kraft cardstock for a main globe and white cardstock for the rest of them.
Here are step by step photos showing what ink colors I used for each part. I went for my favorite color combo and used Misty Morning and Cloudy Sky for the globe parts.
Next, I used Mocha Fresh Dye Ink for the smaller elements of the globe.
For the tiny flowers, I used Strawberry and Blush Rose from Blushberry Bliss Fresh Dye Ink Set along with Sunray and Olive. I used a small brush from Micro Blending Brush set (Flat Bristles) to apply yellow and green colors. It’s a perfect tool for a seamless blending of inks on smallest elements.
For the leaves, I used Olive and Moss from Tropical Forest Fresh Dye Ink Bundle. I used brush no.7 again to add a darker color.
Then, I adhered all the parts together.
I decided to keep this card without any sentiment but to add a school feeling I used Mega Brush Alpha Stamp Set that is designed to look like contemporary brush calligraphy. I attached the whole set to my Stampwheel plate with a double tape and stamped the whole set with Obsidian Pigment Ink to create a fun background.
The final step was to place the elements onto my card and stick everything down.

I hope you like this quick and simple card for a teacher.
