Using Stamp Sets To Add Unique Details On A Monochromatic Layout

Hello everyone! Enza here to show you a new layout created with the gorgeous Reflection Scrapbook Collection and some elements from two stamp sets: Freeform Greenery Stamp Set and 365 Stamp Set. The versatility of these sets makes them a must-have, as they can be used on any project in a variety of ways. For my layout today, I decided to incorporate them as accent pieces. It can be so fun using stamp sets to add unique details and I want to show you how.

The concept for this page was to highlight the colors in the picture by keeping a monochromatic look. The red in my daughter's dress pops against the dark background, making it the focal point. To start, I backed a cut file with one of the papers in the Reflection Scrapbook Kit that had the same hues. It's the best when patterned papers do all the work for you. I got a watercolor effect with no effort ;)

Then after fussy cutting lots of roses to create clusters around the photo, I decided to use the Freeform Greenery stamp set to add more layers to them. I also heat-embossed some of the images using the Antique Gold Crisp Embossing Powder. Again, gold is one of the colors in the picture, so I thought it would compliment the other colors perfectly.
