Nesting stars scrapbook layout

Terhi Koskinen here today sharing my second layout with the barnd new 'Our Family' scrapbook collection. I'm almost out of words describing of how beautiful, trendy and versatile the collection is.
As I really adored the color scheme in this collection, I decided to highlight the colors and kept everything else soft, smooth and silent. Just lots of stars on top off hand painted pink layer of acrylic paint.
Even when creating a flat project like thin card or thin scrapook layout, there are several tricks to get your creation more dimentional. To mention few best ones, I'd say painting your background randomly with couple of shades of one colord would be one. Also layering paper partly on top of each other is also clever idea. And for third, adding different material as mixing paper and fabric or lace. These all makes your layout flat and easy to add into an album, but still keeps the dimentional look.
All the starts in this layout are having another patterned paper inside, it makes more details to catch your eye.
