The Altenew Educator Certification Program (AECP) is a formal educational platform that allows crafters of all skill levels to achieve their crafting goals. This first-of-its-kind program has been helping crafters worldwide specialize in their craft while rediscovering their love of crafting and spreading that love through the art of teaching.

With each AECP level, you're required to take a set of thoughtfully curated classes, submit projects, pass the challenges, and demonstrate your teaching prowess in an Altenew-sponsored virtual card making workshop. We've handpicked a few online card making classes for all 3 AECP levels to get you started on your Altenew Educator journey! From stamp layering and die-cutting to watercoloring and masking - these classes will help you step up your handmade cards in no time. Each class offers card making tips, tricks, hacks, and easy-to-follow instructions from expert paper crafters in the industry.

We have anapplicationthat you can fill out. Once you answer the questions, please submit to Altenew. Once reviewed and approved by the administrator you will be notified.
Absolutely! We welcome crafters from all over the world to be part of this. However, the curriculum and communication are conducted in English.
It is our goal to encourage and enhance a paper crafter's knowledge and skills in the world of stamping, card designs, and layouts. In order to showcase Altenew products within our principle and guidelines, it is necessary to set a standard that can be easily understood and followed.
The program utilizes classes in Altenew Academy. Each participant is required to purchase 10 classes for level 1, 10 classes for level 2, and 5 classes for level 3 in order to complete the necessary assignments and showcase their progress. When you are accepted to the program, you will be asked to purchase classes for level 1 and level 2 to get started with the program. Each class is about $8.95 - If you already purchased classes before that are required for level 1 and 2 already, you do not need to re-purchase them.
You are not required to have a blog when applying for the program; however, once you are accepted, you must share your assignments on any social media channel, for example, Instagram, etc., so we can evaluate your work as you progress within the program. Final Challenges can either be submitted via blog or Google Docs.
An Altenew Education Badge will be awarded once you complete a level. You are encouraged to display the badge online by adding it to a blog or listing it on your social media profile.

Absolutely! When we review your application, we will take your skill level and experience into consideration. You may be able to skip a level as your submissions and progress will speak for themselves (assuming you have enrolled/completed Altenew Academy classes).
We encourage you to embark on this wonderful journey at your own pace. Thus, there is no set time to complete each level. Your growth and experience are vital to the success of this program.
There is no need! You can use any Altenew products that you already own. But if you do want to grow your stash, we do have our Weekly Sale Pageupdated so be sure to check it out for great savings!
The perks of being a certified educator are currently as below but not limited to:
Marketing efforts for Certified Educators' independent workshops. We publicize Educator's workshop via email, social media, and on our website. We have a dedicated page for any upcoming workshops.
Discounts on products for the independent workshops (varies per needs). An Educator and the participants of their workshops are provided with a discount, should they choose to purchase supplies from Altenew.
Possible door prizes for in-person workshops/classes.
Eligibility to be invited to teach at our virtual Craft Your Life Retreats. We plan to host this event six times a year and a few mini-retreats in between.
Altenew hosted hops for educators both on Instagram and Altenew YouTube. Currently, we have four video hops and four+ Instagram hops yearly.
