Frequently Asked Questions
The program is built around Altenew Academy classes. Each participant is required to complete:
- Level 1: 10 classes (provided in the Level 1 bundle)
- Level 2: 10 classes (provided in the Level 2 bundle)
- Level 3: 5 self-selected intermediate-to-advanced classes from a curated list
If you already own any of the required Level 1 or Level 2 classes, you do not need to repurchase them.
AECP is a self-paced, independent learning experience, so it varies for each individual. You can work at your own speed — there are no deadlines.
Absolutely! We welcome crafters from all around the world to join the AECP. However, the curriculum and communication are conducted in English.
Our goal is to encourage and enhance every paper crafter’s knowledge and skills in stamping, card design, and layouts. To showcase Altenew products within our principles and guidelines, it’s important to set a clear standard — one that is easy to follow and recognize within the crafting community.

You are not required to have a blog to complete the program. However, to share your work and progress with peers, you will need some form of social media platform. Once you begin the program and start working on assignments, you can share your projects on Instagram, a blog, or another platform, and then link them to the Inlinkz tool in the AECP assignment gallery. This allows us to review your work when you are ready. Final challenges can be submitted either through a blog post or via Google Docs, linked in the same manner as the assignments.
No, you don’t! You can use any Altenew products you already own. If you’d like to expand your collection, be sure to check out our Weekly Sale Page for great savings!
We encourage you to embark on this self-paced, independent, wonderful journey at your own pace. Thus, there is no set time to complete each level. Your growth and experience are vital to the success of this program.
After completing the Level 1 classes and the Level 1 Final Challenge, email support@altenew.com with your Inlinkz submission entry numbers. The AECP team will review your assignments and challenge. Once approved, you can purchase the AECP Level 2 Bundle and begin the Level 2 classes.
After completing the Level 2 classes and the Level 2 Final Challenge, email support@altenew.com again with your Inlinkz submission entry numbers. The AECP team will review your assignments, then share the curated list of Level 3 class options. You will select five intermediate-to-advanced classes from this list.
After finishing the five Level 3 classes, you’ll contact support@altenew.com once more with:
- Your Inlinkz submission entry numbers for the five assignments
- Your proposed workshop plan
- Your preferred date and time to host the workshop
The AECP team will then review your five class assignments and workshop plan and discuss the workshop details with you. Once approved, you’ll host your workshop to complete Level 3 and receive your certification.
