Disappointed

I was excited to try these brushes from Altenew with my new watercolor from Altenew. I wanted to love these but I have to be completely honest these brushes are horrible. They shed all over the moment you get them wet and with Altenew's horrible return policy there is no returning them. There are better brushes in this price range from other retailers. I was not expecting a professional watercolor brush, but I was expecting a little bit better quality then this from Altenew. So disappointed. I will say the brushes do seem to hold their shape and hold the water well. However, due to them constantly losing their bristles I have not been able to use them like I'd like because I keep needing to pick brush hairs off of my paper and that gets extremely annoying. I would save your money and buy your brushes elsewhere. Just my opinion. Disappointing though because I do love Altenew.

Great Brushes!

Great set of watercolor brushes. They hold water nicely and the tips maintain their shape!

Classy Watercolor brush

From the packaging to the actual brushes, they do the trick. Large ones pick up water easily, make it easy to distribute. One irritant is that some of the brushes are losing their bristles in some of the brushes through use.

Perfect brushes

I'm so glad that I finally purchased these. They really make my watercoloring easier. They small brushes have nice points for details and the big brush holds water well.
