I have several other "bone" folders. The plastic ones are totally useless. The supposedly real bone ones work pretty well, but do leave a mark on the card stock, and at times they don't glide smoothly over the surface of the paper. The Teflon ones glide very smoothly over the card stock, and they don't leave a mark. I like the size of the Crafter's Essential bone folder - I have small hands. I like the weight of it as well. It seems well made and will hopefully last a lifetime. I actually purchased two, because I have two different areas of the house where I ply the crafting trade. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Out of all the other bone folders I have, this one is a cut above the rest. Noce quality and durable; not flimsy.

My favorite essential craft tool. Makes sharp creases without marking up my cardstock and not bulky in my hand.

This is the 2nd one I purchased because they are my absolute Favorite bone folder!
The edges are rounded on one end, flat on the other and perfectly crease and flatten any score lines and folds.

I've wanted this for a while and when it went on sale, I got it. It's a great weight and works as expected. I love the one edge side.
