Great teacher, very informative class

Since I am new to watercolor, I was excited to find a class that would be easy to follow and use my new Altenew watercolor paint set with 36 different colors. Though I did not have all the die cuts and exact floral stamps suggested, I used the "January 2021 Paint-a-Flower: Tulips" stamp for my first project. However, I did decide to purchase the recommended watercolor brushes (Silver Black Velvet #2,4,6 and #10 from Amazon) They made all the difference in the outcome of the final project! I certainly have no regrets in purchasing these brushes--what a great investment and I was amazed at the difference these brushes made compared to standard watercolor brushes from a discount store. I then sent it to artist friend of mine for critiquing and she was very impressed! I look forward to finishing the next few classes in this series "Watercolor 101 For Paper Crafters" by Emily Midgett. This series was very helpful with lots of simple suggestions and techniques to give me the courage and ambition to pursue this new art form. Thank you Emily Midgett and Altenew!

This was the first Altenew class I ever did! I had seen it advertised and watched the promo video and wanted to see more things to do with those background stamps (which I already had), plus there was an early bird so I signed up straight away. Everything You Need to Know

Really didn't know what to expect but this class was GREAT ! The instructor took her time and thoroughly explained each step to make the work EASY to follow. Even if you think you have limited artistic skills you CAN do this !!!

GREAT class!!!

Absolutely loved this class and the different techniques. I enjoyed ALL of the classes but really liked Day 5 - No Line Watercoloring. Both of these ladies were great! I'm anxious to get started and plan to try a few of the techniques tomorrow. Hopefully I will post one or two!

Beauty in simplicity

Enjoyed the class. Learned new techniques. One gets so hung up on layering because of all the gorgeous products coming out that one forgets the beauty of simplicity and planning a project. Thanks Kelly. Oh I did cheat a little with the layer die cuts, but the rest of the card is using Kelly's technique. Just an example of poor planning on my part.

What a Bargain

I'm into watercolor so I wanted to see if I could learn more. This bundle delivered! It provided info for the beginner and beyond. Some of the techniques were similar but with a twist. Lessons are easy to follow and you don't need a lot of extra supplies. Results are beautiful and can be used in multiple ways. Numerous examples following each lesson from previous students. I purchased the set of three Watercoloring classes. Each class contained six lessons. While all the techniques in each if the three classes were not different, they were taught by different people. I enjoyed these classes very much. They helped build my confidence in my ability to actually replicate the techniques. I would highly recommend this bundle.
