Using an Oldie but Goodie for Teacher Appreciation

Hello family!!! Tenia here with a super fun CAS (Clean and Simple) card project. Today, I’m revisiting a classic in my collection. There is something so satisfying about Using an Oldie but Goodie stamp set to create something fresh and modern!

The set I’m featuring today is Educators Rule! This set is wonderful for when you want to create a heartfelt card for that amazing teacher, principal, or tutor who makes a difference in a child's life.

Creating a professional-looking card doesn't have to be complicated. By Using an Oldie but Goodie set with modern techniques like glitter tape and die-cutting, you get a polished result every time.

1. Prepare the Base: Create your card base from Classic Crest Solar White Cardstock for a crisp, clean look.
2. Die Cut Shapes: Use the Nesting Circles Die Set to cut circles from Parrot and Buttercream cardstock. This adds a nice geometric pop to the layout.
3. Add Texture: On the Parrot circle panel, affix Sunlit Gold Glitter Tape and add staples. This adds a bit of "industrial chic" to your oldie stamps.
4. Inking the Apple: Stamp the apple image using the Carnival Magic Fresh Dye Ink set. This creates a vibrant, multi-dimensional look.
5. Assemble the Focal Point: Die cut the apple image and add the stem.
6. Sentiment Part 1: Stamp the "Teacher" sentiment using Milk Chocolate Fresh Dye Ink and die cut it.
7. Sentiment Part 2: Stamp "you deserve an A+" using Jet Black Fresh Dye Ink and trim it closely with scissors.
8. Final Assembly: Adhere all elements onto the card front using foam tape for dimension.
