While this ink pad is more expensive than others available, it is by far the best black ink pad I've used. It produces crisp, detailed images and can be used with watercolors over it without it bleeding and making images muddy. I've my ink pad for a few years and it's still going strong.
In my opinion, this is worth the investment.

Great black ink.

This was my first Altenew ink purchase and I'm an instant fan! The pad was juicy and gave very rich color with both stamping and my BetterPress. I'll be purchasing more colors!

The obsidian ink from Altenew is absolutely stunning. I have been crafting for many years and tried a variety of inks. This ink is one I will use for everything. I plan to solely use this black ink. The ink does not smear and dries quickly. The words are clearer with this ink on my words. Rest assured you will not be disappointed with this product. As always Altenew hits it out of the ballpark!

This is my new favorite black ink I t stamps so very crisp and dark the first time. Really loving it ❤️
